So I've been a slacker because I had some kind of plague (cold) for a week. But I am back now! =) I went to Gen Con this past weekend and have some costume pictures to share... two today, more tomorrow!
These are the before and after pictures of her costume. She had wires attached that, when she pulled them, would spread her wings. If you look closely, it is mostly made of plastic... the kind they use to make glasses. With exception of the unitard and wig, she made this completely by herself. And it took (I think they said) about a year to complete.

this is amazing! in the first one her face seriously looks like a drawing! :O :D so is she an anime character or something or just a random fairy or..?
Apparently she was an ice elemental who saved little creatures or some tidbit of information that I didn't listen to because I was too fascinated with the costume
She is a "Changeling." Apparently through some sorcery she was turned into an ice elemental.I can't quote the whole story either, but it is fascinating.
ah child turned ice elemental.... and so she's happy about that? totally clear now... ??? ^_^
Perhaps she has just learned to accept and has acheived a state of zen in her life. hehe
